He studied Computer Science in Regensburg, Germany, and holds a PhD with a dissertation titled “Access Control in Business Processes – A Model-Driven Approach.” He has a proven track record delivering and selling successful IAM projects across industries, including automotive, banking, and logistics. Heiko is a regular speaker at conferences and is known for his expertise in the field, having published research and articles focused on IAM and cybersecurity.

Cristel Nicolau is an IAM Lead Consultant at iC Consult with more than 22 years of experience in IT, including 15 years in cybersecurity and identity and access management. He specializes in large system integration, IT security, business consulting and role-based access control (RBAC). Before joining iC Consult three years ago, Cristel worked at Santander Germany as Manager of Internal Systems, focusing on IAM, cybersecurity and HR systems.
