After dedicating 18 years to leading innovation and success, Dr. Heiko Klarl, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, will be leaving iC Consult. During Heiko’s tenure, iC Consult has become the leading global consultancy, systems integrator, and managed services provider for Identity-driven Cybersecurity and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Heiko has been the architect behind the global sales, marketing, bid and partner management departments at iC Consult. What began as a modest team led by a single sales professional has grown under his guidance to include more than 40 specialists. His leadership has been pivotal in driving the company’s revenues to more than quadruple since 2018. He has built a middle management team of six experienced Vice Presidents, laying a strong foundation for iC Consult’s continued prosperity.
He played a pivotal role in the initiation of the international expansion and re-establishment of iC Consult Americas in 2021. As Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Heiko supported three strategic mergers and acquisitions across the U.S. including India. Additionally, he was the driving force behind establishing a robust recruiting team with a specialized focus on IAM.
Between 2012 and 2018 Heiko spearheaded the foundation of iC Consult’s Business Consulting division, integrating the objectives of iC Consult’s clients’ business and IT departments. Before this, he was at the forefront of the company’s Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) initiatives. Heiko led several major CIAM projects, including one embedded in Europe’s largest agile scrum projects at the time, demonstrating his engagement in innovative methodologies.
His excellent relationships with customers, partners, and software vendors, along with his in-depth understanding of the identity and cybersecurity world, have been pivotal in helping clients make informed decisions and successfully implement IAM programs and IAM managed services.
Heiko will take a well-deserved break after an intensive and successful period to spend more time with his family, tackle his bucket list, and pursue future adventures in the identity and cybersecurity space.
